Ann came to England from her native California in 1972 to further her musical studies. After completing one post graduate year at Trinity College, London and a further year at the Royal Academy of Music, she chose to stay on in this country and became a free-lance musician and a teacher.

She played with many of the London orchestras and ballet companies through the years and has travelled throughout Europe doing concert tours. Since marrying her musician husband and having her two children she now concentrates on music copying and engraving.

She has worked for several large European music publishers including Boosey & Hawkes, Novellos, Universal and Durand and for composers including Richard Harvey, Jerry Goldsmith, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Taverner, Peter Maxwell-Davies and Harrison Birtwistle, producing music for television, cinema and all forms of live performance. Some of her television involvement has included The Little ‘Visiters’, Dr. Finlays Casebook, Wildlife on One, The Ambassador, Jane Eyre, and Arabian Nights and her films include Animal Farm, Captain Jack, Two Men Went To War and The Little Vampire. She has also contributed to Die Another Day, Hollow Man and Nanny McPhee.

Ann continues to play the flute and does regular concerts as time allows.
